This is a strange request but does anyone know how to remove a security tag from a pair of trousers? I bought a pair ages ago, forgot I had bought them and never took them out of the bag. Found the bag last week and noticed that they still had the security tag on them. Don't have the receipt and it will look dodgy taking them in to get it removed! Help! |

I'm so very hungover it's not funny. Infact, I can't remember the last time I was this hungover. Drinking too much on a school night is bad and wrong. Now I have 8 and a half hours left of work. This is going to be very painful!!!! |

Who knows anything about setting up wireless connections? I tried last night for about 3 hours and failed! It kept asking for codes and numbers and I don't have a clue what they are! I didn;t think it would be so complex! If anyone fancies a challenge, there shall be pizza or drinks as a reward!!! |

I'm selling my car! The title might have given that away!
It's and R reg Renault Clio 1.2. It's just passed it's MOT with nothing wrong and will have 6 months tax. It's cheap to insure and run! Basis spec is 52000 (ish) miles, red paint, grey interior, sun roof, 5 doors, manuel gearbox, immobiliser, central locking, CD player with removable front, full service history, 2 lady owners since new, new brakes and exhaust last year. It's great on the motoway and for trundling around town! Cars similar to this go for about £1500 but make me an offer as anything I get for it is better than nothing! I need to sell it around mid - end Spetember.

Right. My computer seems to have broken through no fault of my own!!! I was on the internet for a few hours and the computer was working fine then when I turned it on later in the evening this happened....
Everytime I start it up, it beeps twice instead of once and then the screen is covered in random characters. However, the computer works fine behind these characters but I can't see what I'm doing! Does this make sense to anyone and does anyone know how to fix it??? If you can fix it, I'll reward you in booze/food!!!

Well, yesterday afternoon was my work do. When you're pissed by 1pm, you know it's going to get messy!
Food was good, drinks were aplenty. I must of got through 3 or 4 bottle of wine before decidinig that I had actually got more pissed than I did last year - something I was trying to avoid!
Whoever makes you come to work the day after a wrok do is evil. Pure evil. I have a very bad hangover.....roll on 5pm and bed!
Edit - I think I might still be drunk! Everything seems very surreal! |

Spike and Jons party went well. Only incidents were cake smeared everywhere and a drunken fresher who had to be looked after then put into a taxi. Drinking and partying carried on until it got light and I finally got to bed some time after 6am.
Saturday - got up and picked up beer cans and bottles - about 4 bin bags in total. Went and got food in The Dragon and picked up cleaning supplies, went back to flat and started cleaning. Julie got the lovely job of cleaning the cake off the walls and doors and I got the lovely job of cleaning the bathroom and kitchen floors. Note to self - Cillit Bang makes a hangover 10 times worse!
After most of the cleaning was done, everyone crashed out and I went back to my flat to get changed, feed rats etc.
Ventured back to Spike and Jons rather later than planned. Roxy, Julie, Jon and I started to drink the remains of the night befores booze before deciding at about 1am to go to Junction 7 for a drink. That was a very bad idea as more alcohol just topped up the level that remained in my blood. Finally got to bed about half 2 - I'd had 3 hours sleep in 44 hours and didn't make out to Kyro as originally planned.
Sunday - slept until about midday then went to Fat Cats for a massive sunday dinner. The rest of the afternoon was spent catching up sleeping. Before watching films on channel 4 and going back to bed.
Back at work today. My boss isn't in which is good as I really haven't got the mental capability to cope with him after this weekend! I've only got to get through 4 days before I have a long weekend of where I'm sure I shall drink about the same amout as I drank at the party again. I never learn do I??? |

I've managed to drink a disturbing amount of Mulled Wine over the past few weeks! Oh well, enjoy it while I can get it!
This week has been pretty stressful at work. Got a major delivery going out 7am tomorrow morning with half of it missing due to a cock up by our upholsterer. Luckily, I've already booked the afternoon off work or I would have been going to Reading for a very very long day.
Apart from work , things are going well. Helped Spike and Claire on Tuesday with the latest AG shoot. Went to Ikea on Wednesday. I have learnt the hard way that driving to Ikea at 6pm is stupid especially if you hate traffic jams and get road rage in traffic jams!
I destressed tonight by spending 2 hours in the gym. I seem to be loosing weight which is good and this been accelerated by cutting out most of the food I'm intolerant to. Lost nearly a stone in a month so it's all going well. Just another stone to go and I'll be happy!
Tomorrow night is Spike and Jons party. Who's going or is that the daftest question ever? |

Since I've been left on my own at work and I'm bored, I may as well update this!
Assault on Friday was fun and for some unknown reason, very cheap. As recommended by someone at work, I tried Jager and Redbull. It was so nice and very addictive but after a fair few of them, I was unable to stay still for longer than 30 seconds. God knows what I was doing for most of the night cause I certainly can't remember! I've also learnt that talking whilst suffering the effects of jager and Redbull is a very bad idea! Must learn to keep quiet when drunk! However, the walk back in the rain soon sobered me up a bit and I managed to avoid the urge to buy pizza!
I have no idea what I did on Saturday! My memory is shocking at the moment!
Dancing at The Rigger went well. Pvc and hot lights don't equal glamour! Must learn to wear less next time. Also, dancing on carpet is not the easiest of things. My boot heel died and so did my ankle. It's nicely swollen now and I'm hoping the lovely shoe repair man can save my boot from death! I am still sufereing from a few aches and pains but I think a few of them were self inflicted from the night before!

My flat has a bit of a damp problem at the moment so last night was spent cleaning up mould. Half of my clothes have developed mould on them so I've got to wash everything now. I decided that 2 pairs of shoes were beyond rescue and binned them. Tonight, I shall go through the rest of my junk and throw out the mouldy stuff and tomorrow, I'm phoning my landlord to complain and get him to sort it out before I stop paying my rent. I think I can do that can't I? Anyone know differently? |

Despite having no money - I managed to have a very good weekend.
Friday night, went to Jons to drink Vodka and watch films. We ended up drinking too much vodka and decided that it would be a great idea to go to Mgenta. I had a good time even though the place was half empty.
Something similar happened on Saturday! This time, wine was the evil substance! After the original plan of going to Tempest died, I ended up at The Wake, drinking more wine. Saw loads of people that I know but due to a crap memory, can't remember half the people I saw!
After dragging my very hungover self out of bed, I made it to the Apocalypse Girls shoot only half an hour late! Spike made me lots of tea and I posed the pretty ladies! A combination that seems to be working quite well. Several hours and many many poses later, I went on a food hunt and watched the Simpsons!
This week seems to be shaping up quite well. Worked in Birmingham, yesterday. All I can say is thank God women can multi-task. I have a rather large quantity of work to get through this week. I can never manage to finish one thing before something more important has to be done. I shall tackle the pile after I have finished colouring in floor plans - my one and only perk of the job. I'm going to make it last all day.....
The only down side of the week is that I'm completely broke. I've had to sell DVDs and games to afford food. I'm debating selling my piccolo. Anyone know of anyone who wants a piccolo? It's silver and very cute and I'll even throw in a few free lessons!
Friday is Assault. Anyone going? I promise no Jager this time unless someone buys it for me!
Saturday is dancing at The Rigger in Stoke. If you have nothing else to do, come on down! Then after that, it's jenii's party. Another mad weekend by the sounds of it then! |

Today, I'm going to be mean! I'm going to screen all my calls at work and only talk to those I want to/have to talk to. Everyone else gets random excuses like 'she's got the plague', 'she's having a sex change op today' or 'she's never worked here' as to why they can't speak to me!
Also, anyone remotely sales related is getting put on hold uptil they hang up. The person who stays on hold the longest wins a prize - I'll talk to them next time...possibly....if I'm in a good mood!
I learnt this yesterday....If anyone phones trying to sell computers, replying we don't use computers here really throws them. Also for all those annoying mobile phone callers, saying we comunicate by walking and talking to eachother annoys them too!
I get easily amused I know.... |
